Vier keer per jaar komt een 7-inch single uit waar twee Amersfoortse artiesten op te bewonderen zijn. \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>EARWAX is opgericht door Martijn Drenth, eigenaar van Velvet Music Store en Havik Records. Hij is EARWAX gestart voor het ontwikkelen van talent in Amersfoort. \u2018Ik vond het mijn taak om iets voor Amersfoorts talent te doen\u2019, aldus Martijn. Het idee om het in de vorm van een vinylclub te doen kwam voort uit de kennis van Martijn in het verkopen van vinyl en uit de ervaring dat veel artiesten wel live kunnen spelen, maar geen fysiek product heeft, zoals vinyl, CD of cassette.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Echter kwam hij tot de conclusie dat op basis van alleen zijn klandizie dit project niet draaiende zou blijven. Daaruit besloot Drenth om talentontwikkelaar Kosmik en poppodium Fluor bij EARWAX te betrekken. \u2018Daarom hebben we dit driehoekje met Kosmik en Fluor gemaakt. Fluor heeft bijvoorbeeld een groot bereik, waardoor dit project een succes kan worden\u2019.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Het project loopt in ieder geval voor \u00e9\u00e9n jaar met de mogelijkheid tot een jaar verlenging. EARWAX zit nu nog in een opstartfase waar de puntjes op de i worden gezet. Zo waren er lastigheden met het afsluiten van een abonnement, zo ging het bijvoorbeeld mis met de online betalingen.
