Het feest voor en door Hooglanders ging afgelopen donderdag van start en duurde tot en met zondagavond. Het terrein biedt activiteiten voor jong en oud. Van bezoeker tot voorzitter, iedere Hooglander kijkt met smacht uit naar de verbintenis van het Dorpsfeest.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Sinds 1993 staat het dorpsgevoel en verbinding centraal op het Dorpsfeest. Het feest is begonnen door een samenwerking tussen JOHO, Jong Hoogland, en Stichting Paardensportdag Hoogland. Ze wilden een evenement organiseren om een grote doelgroep in Hoogland te bereiken. Het Dorpsfeest wordt gerund door 914 vrijwilligers, honderddertig commissieleden en zeven bestuursleden uit Hoogland. \u2018Je werkt met allemaal mensen die het ontzettend leuk vinden om dit te doen\u2019, zegt Patrick Heerschop, voorzitter van Dorpsfeest Hoogland. Hij is zelf sinds zijn elfde al vrijwilliger bij het feest en zit sinds zijn zeventiende bij de commissie.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Het Dorpsfeest wordt zo exclusief mogelijk gehouden. De tickets kunnen alleen fysiek gehaald worden in Hoogland en kunnen niet online worden gekocht. Er wordt op deze manier voorkomen dat mensen vanuit het gehele land tickets kunnen kopen. \u2018Zo blijven we inclusief voor de inwoners van Hoogland\u2019, zegt Sophie Bouw, pr-hoofdcommissie. Dit jaar stond er een rij negen uur voordat de kaartverkoop begon. Net zoals de bezoekers en organisatoren zijn de sponsors ook lokaal.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Het feest is toegankelijk voor allerlei soorten doelgroepen. Zo is er het Dreesfeest voor senioren, de JOHO! Dome voor tieners, het Zomercarnaval voor mensen met een beperking en livemuziek in de avonden voor ieder van zestien plus die een dansje wil wagen.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Voor Patrick Heerschop is dit zijn eerste jaar als voorzitter van het bestuur van het Dorpsfeest Hoogland.
