Dankzij social media kun je als journalist makkelijker dan ooit in contact komen met je publiek. Ook voor verhalen kun je daarvan gebruik maken, bijvoorbeeld met een oproep, of door vragen te stellen aan je publiek: dat heet audience engagement<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Onze gast Caroline van Soelen, journalist bij RTL Nieuws, gaat verder: zij deed, met hulp van haar publiek, onderzoek naar onder meer armoede en naar de problemen in de zorg.
