By: Anders Helmer M\u00f8rck<\/em><\/p>\n By 2030, halve per capita global food waste at the retail and consumer levels and reduce food losses along production and supply chains, including post-harvest losses<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Have you ever seen a supermarket throwing food out in the dumpster, seen an unfinished meal go back to the restaurant \u2013 or done it yourself back home in your own kitchen. Then you are not alone, as food waste is one of the biggest environmental challenges that we face at the moment.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The United Nations is trying to put pressure on countries to reduce their food waste but is it possible in a world that is producing more food than needed \u2013 but the path is far from easy.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The program, \u201cTaste Before You Waste\u201d, is trying to educate their costumers and volunteers, with one specific goal in mind.
