About me

My name is Nan Cao Blokhuis,

I’m a freelance journalist from the Netherlands. I write articles in Dutch and English. My articles are focused on issues that concern people globally and the aim is to uncover injustices around the world. The focus in my work is on global climate change issues and conflict- and crisis areas around the world.

During my university career I specialized in cross-border journalism at the School for Journalism and Conflict Studies at the University of Utrecht. At the end of my studies. Additionally I completed an internship at the investigative reportage program Frontlinie from the Dutch Public Television Broadcaster VPRO.
