When Russia invaded Ukraine on the 24th of February in 2022, naturally, there was an enormous spike in the amount of people leaving Ukraine. But people didn’t only LEAVE Ukraine, there were also many people that came to Ukraine in February 2022 to aid Ukranians at the border.
One of these people who came to help, is Alice from Italy. She travelled to the Ukrainian-Polish border shortly after the Russian invasion.
Our reporter Daan Reitsma talked to Alice about her experience with offering help over there.
