Organization ‘Buddy to buddy’ pairs newcomers with locals based on their life stage and interests. Last week, one of the matching dinners of this organization took place close to Utrecht. During this evening, the duos meet each other for the first time, after which a four-month program begins where they get to know one another. In the report below you can hear organizer Susan Curvers about the project. It’s often clear what newcomers gain from this, because they get easier access to Dutch culture, but locals can also gain a lot from their buddy experience.
