One of the most famous crafts in The Netherlands is cheese. It has been made, sold and exported for centuries. But nowadays, cities are filled with cheese shops that are only targeting tourists. This changes the craftsmanship for cheesemongers around the country.

Bessel van Veen has been the manager of a cheese shop in Edam for 36 years. The little town is worldwide famous for the Edam cheese, which attracts many tourists. Bessel his shop has changed a lot since he started there in 1990. In this report, Bessel explains how his job has changed with it.
