What the library of the future looks like is still up in the air. But it’s location has officially been assigned to Kraaiennest in Amsterdam Zuidoost. Although the negative image of the multicultural neighborhood no longer fits with how residents experience it, the district cannot shake its status as the prime example of a Dutch ghetto. Lara looks at how a library could be a promising first step in helping the community shake off the negative stereotype.
