For many years, the Netherlands has been an attractive destination for international students, but that may change with the new law under discussion, aimed at reducing the influx of foreign students. This law, largely driven by the ongoing housing shortage, could lead universities to lose their international appeal and push students to seek opportunities elsewhere.
